Purrfect Valentine's Day

Hello there Mingles! I'm letting you in on a secret - I have a date. With my favorite hooman, of course.

Do you want to be someone's favorite too? To be your feline's favorite, here are some clues. We pick the person who feeds us the best snacks, gives the most head scratches, and respects our boundaries when we just need a nap. Trust me, you’ll know when you’ve won our hearts. It’s a subtle, graceful thing, like a soft tail flick or a gentle purr in your presence.

Now, I know that Valentine’s Day is all about giving sweet treats, but sugar is not our thing. Please don't try to share those sugary chocolates with us. While we appreciate the sentiment, sugar is bad for cats. It upsets our delicate tummies, makes us feel all weird, or worse—we get sick! So, let’s just stick to the fancy tuna. Or maybe a nice, crunchy treat—much better than that candy heart nonsense!

What we really love, above all else, is quality time. My hooman and I are celebrating this year's hearts day wearing our new couple hoodies!

• We'll start the day by snuggling up on the couch. There’s nothing better than a cozy lap while we watch a rom-com (don’t worry, I let my mom have the popcorn).
• I'll show off my hunting skills with a feather wand or laser pointer. Mom loves watching me chase that dot of light.
• We'll watch the sunset. The sunbeam’s warmth is a perfect way to share a peaceful afternoon. We could nap side by side.
• After our fancy tuna dinner, my mom and I will cap off our purrfect date by curling up in front of a cozy fire and play until we’re both out of breath.

Valentine’s Day is about love. We'll make sure this day is about the bond we share.
